Pokémon GO August 2024 Community Day Puts Popplio in the Spotlight

Niantic is excited to announce that Popplio, the Sea Lion Pokémon, will be featured during Community Day in August! August 2024: Popplio Community Day will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Popplio will appear in the wild more frequently during this time.

Evolve Brionne (Popplio’s Evolution) during the event or up to five hours afterward to get a Primarina that knows the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon. Hydro Cannon’s stats are as follows:

• Trainer Battles: 80 power
• Gyms and raids: 90 power

From the event onwards, Primarina will be able to learn the Charged Attack Sparkling Aria. Sparkling Aria’s stats are as follows:

• Trainer Battles: 80 power
• Gyms and raids: 85 power
